Still need more cars

I agree we do need more. I no I can't complain coz I missed the last meeting. But there is good news on the horizon 3 and 271 are on holiday and should be back for the next meeting . 81 will hopefully be able to attend also. We no that 98 had knee surgery and will be back soon. Add to that the extra cars that are rumoured from your neck of the woods and keV turners friends car. Will 526 be back out again? That's another car. That's about 20 cars. Now if only we could all get to track together.
Not forgetting that 89 Brian Scott has 2 cars. I will phone him again soon and see if he has plans for the cars. And we know 35 has a op coming up soon .

We just seem to always be in this situation with car numbers. The cats are out there but we can't seem to all get together at the same time.

Hi Keith

I think the meeting was held in a bit of a somber mood, I think everyone involved with the V8's would like to extend there best wishes to the family and friends of young Keir Millar,. Race in peace champ.

The Racing from the V8s was good as always in the first two heats, unfortunately the field was reduced to 9 cars for the final. A lot of damage was sustained in Heat two especially . More contact in our racing than in the National Bangers and it was there BWS meeting.
It was also great to see another driver giving the formula a go, Kelvin Hassle who has a wealth of experience racing both sides of the Atlantic and in Europe had a Baptism of fire in the meeting. But talking to him afterwards he really enjoyed himself and hopes to out again soon, other racing commitments allowing.

Race results will appear later along with updated points and rookie championship.

Also our thoughts are with the Beale Family this week.

Heat 2 wrong didn't think you get placed sitting on the bend for 3 laps

It says the same on mylaps results as well Pete. I didn't think it looked right and wondered in Daryl finished 4th but he had a puncher so who knows what they are doing .

I was on the bend one lap not three. Was only one lap left! Time people got their facts right before bleating on a forum.

Matt Shipham has also confirmed the reason behind the placing too. 86 was docked for corner cutting too.

What a load of  no wonder drivers don't want to race  make the places up as they go olong should have been dnf  and as for me doing 15laps in heat 2thats as well  if you don't cross the flags you ant finshed the race end of
